Day 1: Munnar
Arrival at Cochin. Proceed to Munnar and check into the hotel. Overnight at Munnar. Activities: Visit Cheeyappara and Valara waterfalls Visit to to Blossom Park Visit to Pothemedu view point.
Day 2: Munnar
After breakfast go for a Munnar tour. Overnight at Munnar. Activities: Visit Echo point and Mattupetty Dam. Speed boating facilities are available here *. Visit Rajamala, home of the highly engangered mountain goat called the Neelgiri Thars*. Due to breeding season of the Nilgiri Thar, the sanctuary will be closed from Feb 1st to Apr 30th, 2015.
Day 3: Kumarakom - Houseboats
Morning after breakfast proceed to Kumrakom, and check into the houseboat. Overnight at Houseboat. Description: Houseboats are huge, slow moving exotic boats used for leisure trips. They are the remodeled version of kettuvallams of olden times which were used to carry tons of rice and spices. The present day house boat is a private boat with fully furnished spacious bath attached bed rooms, hygiene kitchen, dining area and private front deck to capture the beauty of the back waters. The houseboat check in time is 12 noon and the cruise and stay will before 20 hours. During the cruise you will witness a full range of lifes and activities and some mind boggling sceneries. The menu in the houseboat is fixed with different fixed menu options for Vegetarians and Non Vegetarians.
Day 4: Alleppy
Morning after breakfast check out from the houseboat and check into the hotel. Overnight at Alleppey. Activities: Go for a motor boat cruise through the legendary backwaters of Kerala*. Visit Alleppey beach in the evening.
Day 5: Poovar
Morning after breakfast, proceed to Poovar and check into the hotel. Overnight at Poovar. Poovar is the confluence of a river, backwaters and beach. Activities: Visit to Poovar beach in the evening.
Day 6: Drop
Return.
